The Colour TV Game-6 was an early Pong system from Nintendo offering six pong games in colour. This was actually the first home video game system produced by Nintendo. Because Nintendo lacked the technology to develop their own microprocessors, they struck a deal with Mitsubishi Electronics and the two companies developed the Colour TV-6 in 1977. The system featured only one game, Light Tennis, which looked and played much like Pong. It featured six different modes. Up to two players could play this game, though there were no detachable controllers. Instead there were two knobs on the console that the players could turn to move their paddles up and down.
