The Odyssey 2001 was the Phillips version of the Magnavox Odyssey 4000. This was an exclusive European version. It offered three games in colour- Tennis, Hockey and Squash- via a National Semiconductor chip. There were six game variations, automatic speed adjustment and the active player was highlighted. There were no bottoms on switches on this system, all settings were made with the two buttons on the controllers. One button was used to select a game while the other one reset the game.
