The second Telstar model released in 1977 was the Telstar Ranger. It came with six games two paddle controllers and a gun. The game included were the standard Pong games which the AY-3-8500 was programmed for- Tennis, Squash, soccer, Practice and two shooting games. This was the first Telstar console to be released which had a completely different design from its original. It was also the first to include detachable controllers.
